This explains what Mytsys Software Solutions Pvt Ltd collects when you use GranthaSwap, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, mobile number, Kerala district and a password (stored encrypted).
- Listings and requests: book details and photos you upload. Photos are resized and their location (GPS) data is removed before they are published.
- Trades: who requested what, hand-over method, drop hub, tracking numbers and claim-code attempts.
- Postal addresses: only when you choose postal delivery. Addresses are stored encrypted.
- Messages you send to other members on GranthaSwap.
- Payments: amount, purpose and the UPI transaction ID you give us. We never see your UPI PIN, card or bank details.
- Technical data: IP address and browser, kept in logs for security.
Who can see what
- Your first name, district and trust score appear on your listings and requests.
- Your phone number is shown only to the other member of an in-person trade while it is open.
- Your postal address is shown only to the sender of that parcel, until it is posted.
- Hub managers see the name of the person collecting a book at their counter.
- Our admin team can see account and trade details to run the service and resolve problems. Every admin action is recorded.
We do not sell your data and we do not show third-party advertising based on it.
Emails and notifications
We email you about your trades, requests, messages and payments. These are part of the service. Announcements may also appear in your notifications.
How long we keep data
We keep your account while it is open. Closed enquiries are deleted after 12 months. Trade and credit records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your choices
You can update your details from your profile. To delete your account or get a copy of your data, email .
