GranthaSwap is run by Mytsys Software Solutions Pvt Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. Please read them with our Privacy policy and Refunds & cancellation pages.
Your account
- You must give your real name, a working email address and a valid Indian mobile number.
- One account per person. Accounts are personal and cannot be sold or transferred.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, for example fake listings, repeated no-shows, abuse in messages or attempts to farm credits.
Book Credits
- You earn credits by giving books and receive joining credits when you verify your email.
- A credit lets you request one book listed on GranthaSwap.
- Credits have no cash value. They cannot be bought back, exchanged for money, sold to other people or withdrawn.
- We may correct credits given by mistake. Credits on suspended or deleted accounts may be cancelled.
- Credits you spend on membership, boosts, featured listings, gifts or donations are not returned.
Membership and paid features
- Your first free books are counted on books you actually receive. After that, receiving more books needs an active membership.
- Listing and giving books is always free.
- Membership, boosts and Featured hub plans run for the period shown when you pay. They do not renew automatically.
- Prices may change; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
Swapping books
- Describe books honestly, including their condition, and only list books you own.
- Do not list pirated copies, photocopies of copyrighted books or anything illegal.
- Hand over or post books within the time shown on your dashboard. Requests that are not acted on are cancelled automatically.
- Show your claim code only when you have the book in your hands. Credits move when the code is entered.
- Drop hubs are independent businesses that hold books as a courtesy. Member offers at hubs are provided by the hub, not by us.
Messages and conduct
- Be respectful. Harassment, hate speech, spam and requests for money or personal information are not allowed.
- Use messages to arrange swaps. You can report a message or block a member at any time.
- We may read reported messages to keep the community safe.
Liability
We provide GranthaSwap as it is. We are not responsible for the condition of books, for parcels lost by couriers or for anything that happens at an in-person meet-up. Meet in public places. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before it.
